Awaiting Venus

Awaiting Venus

Dreams of an ethereal beauty
elaborate my destiny to take hold,
gathering its essence
under a surreal twilight embrace

Melodies and revelations
began unfolding
under the sheer brilliance
of its celestial magnificence,
delivering its subliminal song
coursing through the labyrinth
of my desires

A bed of roses
arouses an immaculate haven
for the symphony
to culminate in concert,
conveying its eternal tidings
into the subconscious
of an infinite realm

Transcending to the everglades
of its pinnacle,
a serene light
is cast protruding
a distorted haze
through the memoirs
of a distant phase
heralding her coming gaze
from afar

The rising tide
breaches its banks,
hesitating not once
to displace the land
under its plague

Beautiful fields
of meadows and lilies
replace a drought
brought upon the seasons
yet unfulfilled,
till the time came
when she poured her blessings
upon a soul mired
in her absence

Her voluptuous eyes
stir an intriguing presence
conceiling the sorrows
of an abandoned identity,
combing the times
of a vestige unyielding

An ambiguous oracle
transpires its graces
upon a malevolent shadow,
rekindling the spirit
of an obscured renaissance
manifested in her enlightenment

She embraces me
into a utopia of deliverance,
shining her benevolent light
upon a faithless void
awaiting resurrection

Her lovely kisses
sent me into exile,
exhaling away
the repetitious deterrence
of a demented world

She reflects
her immortal passion
as a flower
from her youth,
passively soothing
the awakening
of a new bloom

Then as I awake,
the harsh morning dawn
breaks away
the solemn procession
of a mythical journey,
leaving her visage
in the depth
of my bewilderment
