Until the day I die

Until the day I die

I never thought I would love again.
Until the day she made me grin.
Her voice so soft and so sweet.
Makes me feel like I'm floating in a never ending creek.

The woman I love and hold so dear.
Fills my heart with such great cheer.
When I lay down at night, I see the light.
The woman I'm holding makes it all feel right.

I wait for her call or her text.
When I hear her voice I feel so blessed.
She has been through so much I can barely take it.
I will always be her rock and her loving companion.

When I look into her eyes I see our future.
Nothing can tear us apart not even a state trooper.
The love we have I cannot explain.
But try to come between us and I will tell you to go away.

When tear's fall from her eyes.
My hand will always be there to wipe them dry.
She deserves the very best, that's what I will give.
Until the day I lay down to rest.

Everything I am, Everything I will be.
Means nothing at all if she isn't right beside me.
If I ever feel down, I know she will be there.
Holding my hand and playing with her hair.

I love her more then anything, even life it's self.
I would give up everything if I thought it would help.
So punch me in the face or even black my eye.
I will always keep her safe until the day I die.
