Mother

Mother

My mother so blind and so hateful.
Would hold me back like a horse in a stable.
I go to her with exciting news.
Just to walk away with a blacking burse.

I wish she would care just for a moment.
About the excitement I have writing my poems.
When we talk she doesn't blink an eye.
Sometimes I wonder does she wish I would die.

It's hard to say, Knowing who she is.
I bet she thinks I wish I never had kids.
I feel like a burden when it comes to my mother.
Sometimes I feel like it's best to just hide under the covers.

Her life isn't bad, She lives for free.
Why does she always feel the urge to yell at me.
No matter the cost I will always love her.
Because the bible tells me to honor thy mother.

I learn how to coop with how she acts.
By writing my poems and turning my back.
No matter how she treats me I want her to know.
My love for her will always be pure, pure as the snow.
