I will lay you down
on cool white satin
as the sunbeams
lick your pale body
with stripes of gold,
and your soft hair
circles your face
like a garland of
sweet autumn leaves.
I will lay me down
beside you, and we will
disappear into a world
never dreamed of
in the rich imaginations
of ten thousand poets .
