Final Destination

At the end of the line,
when the train arrives
at that final destination,
it is there that I'll lay you
on soft white sheets and
cool satin pillows while
the darkness swallows
the sun and the moon
casts a pool of warm
luster around the bed.
At the end of the line,
when the train arrives
at that final destination,
it is there that we'll rest
from our journey and
drink the nectar of rapture,
while the stars twinkle in
a chorus of golden silence.
