The Song of June

The Song of June

Sometimes in my darkest hours
she sings within my heart a hushed
sweet melody from our long ago.
As I cry into the dark lonely night
she laughs in my memory to clear
away the ominous storm clouds
and open the clear welcoming skies.
Sometimes in my blackest moments
she sings into my heart a whispered
golden tune from our days long past...
And we smile into each other's eyes.
