Gazing out my hazy window
as the dry, crisp brown leaves
drop from the brittle branches
and blow away into the chill air
on a grey November afternoon.
Gazing out my hazy window...
I see none of it.
For my mind is far, far away
and my soul is a captive of
that smile, that face... those eyes.
Gazing out my hazy window
I see her... I see her... I see her...
