On Touching You

On Touching You

Reaching out
a trembling hand,
I lightly brush
my fingers
down your
soft pale cheek.
My eyes well up,
my lip quivers,
my ears buzz
and my head is
filled with fire!
The feel of
your satin skin
melts my heart,
incinerates my brain
and sends my soul
to a world
of flaming embers
and silken lace.
