Her Toxic Kisses (September, 2011)

Her Toxic Kisses (September, 2011)

The venomous spit
from the adder's tongue
has filled my eyes
with a sizzling fire
while my gaping mouth
drools the rancid fluid
that rattles in my
burning, swollen throat.
The fiery poison
of the viper's fangs
surges through my veins
as the crimson blood
clots and congeals
inside my flushed,
sweaty, trembling body.
For her razor tongue
has slashed my soul
and her toxic kisses
have curdled my brain
and rendered my body
to a quivering puddle
of burning poison.
