Final Proclamation

Final Proclamation

Chisel the words on
the face of the moon.
Teach the stars to
sing it out loudly
in perfect harmony.
Let it be whispered
among the leaves,
whistled and hummed
throughout the forests
and shouted across
the grassy green fields
and the golden meadows.
Carve the words on
every sandy beach
and on all the stony
granite mountain sides:
"I'm in love for
the last time!"
