The Death of Me

The Death of Me

She'll be the death of me:
With her soul paralyzing eyes
that penetrate my skull,
hollow out my head and
incinerate my helpless brain.
She'll be the death of me:
With her heart melting smile
that grabs me by the face,
captures my hypnotized eyes
and obliterates my will.
She'll be the death of me:
With her spine chilling voice
that creates in my ears a song
of heartbreakingly blue skies,
while sending me up into the
black, empty, airless night
with icy goosebumps rippling
across my leathery skin.
She'll be the death of me:
And oh what a sweet demise.
