Delirium

Delirium

Light years kissed goodbye
as if they could.
We dissolved into infinity
no longer existing
but we had a place of our own
a dream within a dream-
transpiring within a dream.
Rays of gold, are worthless
in an atmosphere illuminated by diamonds
thrusted upon black canvas
sparkling, radiating
their worth-which-held no monetary value.
Hope resides in the lights
Faith blinks in contrast
the black nothingness
oblivion, that's what they call it
the biggest facade
nothing made into something
--------------------------------------
...the dust gathered
forming my bones.
I took my first breath
filled with the galaxy
and I felt you.

I've yet to meet you here on earth.
There, we were rays of light
glistening within the same infinity
inside my dream
inside my dream
my very own delirium
