Sitting alone
in a self-made chamber
of silent darkness,
while hot, salty tears
slowly scald my cheeks,
I trace a trembling finger
around a yellow photo:
Her mute smile
shouting in silence;
her eyes staring in blindness,
while one dusty sunbeam
paints a solitary stripe
across my lonely chest.
