Lady of the Night 2

Lady of the Night 2

The full moon is haloed
with a ring of silver mist
while a silent chorus of stars
shiver, shimmer and blink.
The frozen ground below
is shrouded in a snowy blanket
and the gray silhouettes
of bare trees wave softly
in the winter evening breeze.
A specter floats across
the frozen garden, hushing
the wind and stilling the night.
The moon dips and bows
as the stars halt their twinkling,
for SHE is walking in the night
and the music of her beauty
chimes beyond the galaxy,
rings across the black velvet dome
and echoes through
a million undiscovered worlds.
