There are times in ones life
when words wont suffice
to convey.
When the mouth feels too small
where the pen lacks the gall
to portray.
When silence sounds immense,
where verbiage cannot condense,
alas, they lead one astray.
When feelings flow untethered,
from all moorings severed,
eloquence, comes not in the fray.
But, at this here juncture i stand,
to ask for your hand,
i request in all manners plain.
Will you agree,
to sit beside me,
and forever, one to remain.
To sit on the same nest,
both in this world and the next,
through sunrise and sunwane.
Will you marry me,
to plant an intrepid tree,
sow, cultivate and maintain?
