Caressing the marble and stone

Caressing the marble and stone

the petals they fall beyond reach
feeling the longing post beep
shattered and curled up they mourn
why aren't you here now

frosted marble mimics your heart
the voices don't put you at harm
supplying comfort like a cage
you should be here now

permanence reaches and stays
the noose tightens and pains
they tell me that you are still here
I am with you now

tears on the marble and stone
caused by the lies of the vows
they told us till death do us part
how they wish we were here now
