The Letter I never finished.

The Letter I never finished.

I once, wrote you, a loving letter,
I did not send it, as I thought I could do better,
It started intentionally, as dear lover,
But I thought it dry, so began another,
So I screwed up, teared, stamped and threw,
That written work, adoring you,
Again, I put page to pen,
And realised I had mucked up again,
What does one write?
To the girl, who shines so bright,
A line fashioned, of beauty and admiration?
Or shouting her name, to all the world's nations?
I fear such beauty makes me freeze,
I cannot type even on bended knee,
So gorgeous, lovely, cuddly vixen,
Argh, all my words, need an unfixing!
I give up my quest, for love of you,
By leaving my scripture, unfinished, for you to do,
Fill in the gaps, please, for me,
For our romance was not meant to be.
