Whispered Seasons

Whispered Seasons

Whispered words floating softly
Like autumn leaves they gently fall
Stirring the child so deep within me
When my name she playfully calls.

Come dance with me she whispers
Embrace my evening sun
This warmth's my gift I give to you
Let our souls entwine as one.

There's a passion that burns within her
Shutting out my winter's pain
Her embrace fills me with summer
As her laughter falls like rain.

When I ask her why she loves me?
She says she needs no reason
More beauty than the springtime
Is my love for every season.
