Blue Note Minuet

Blue Note Minuet

We danced across
the star-filled sky December
Your eyes mimicked the depths
of the cerulean blue seas

I, in my blazing gown of sunsets,
swayed to the rythmic sounds of the cosmos
as you held me close

You commanded such strength
as you led me through the heavens
that the angels stopped
midflight

They blushed as you kissed me
and Venus smiled
shameless of her jealousy

I remember that night so well,
blissful; divine...almost holy...

You and I
euphoric, enchanted
as we danced
a blue note minuet
