tell me how

tell me how

i know i love you
if you died i'd cry
but i want to be in love with you

tell me how
to fall
i trust you will pick me up

tell me how
to give in
i know you will not hold back

i want to be in love with you
approvals stand not in our way
nor do opposing families
there is no watching enemy's eye
nor another lover waiting to take the flower

all i see between us are
our chests
our time
and those rules slammed into my head ever since that funny talk
of birds and bees
and the other ones about mommies and daddies
and definitely babies

tell me how to love you
i believe you
you love something about me and i love something about you
i am wildly in liking with you

but what is love?

what soft secret summoning words must i speak to make it appear?
i've heard you can make it
but how can we have it?

you seem so much wiser
yet i know our age and wisdom
do not meet often
i'll tell you what you ask of me
and i'll give all i can give

i never knew i'd be the one losing my grip
you seemed so much more into it
but we are even
we should get 2 couches in the woods
sit and talk

give it that damn time
and wait some more
it can happen
we just have to push eachother
and one of us is bound to
