Morbid Thoughts

Morbid Thoughts

I drive along a stretch of road and wonder what might happen if suddenly my life ended.
If I hit that car or that tree....Would anyone remember me?
Would people gather from here and there and recall the good and bad?
How long would they be sad?
My problems, would all be over. No more worries, no more threats.
Darkness would surround me....Life would be my one regret.
Such morbid thoughts are bad for the soul, I heard a person say.
But what would happen, if all I knew....
Ended with my life today?
