Hey daddy can you tell me why
so many things living let themselves die

everyone in lifeboats, they were screaming
people didn't know where they should go
the setting sun by now was slowly sinking
the boat that they were on was already gone.

the angels were singing harmonious songs the people that died well they sang along

everest was calling the worlds best climbers
reach her peak and then survive
the weather turned black as they ascended
they lost their lives that day and only the sherpas came back

the climbers were angels with smiles on their faces, the mountaineers corpses are still there

Hey daddy can you tell me when
the things that have died, wil they come back again.

tom tom the neighbours dog was sleeping on the road
pretty bird was lying on the bottom of her cage
what ever happened to joey the fish he tried swimming upside down
I never would have let him if I knew that he would drown

the swing branch on the old oak tree was lying on the ground
it used to creek in the wind but when it cracked the leaves turned brown
the flowers mom picked from the garden don't look so nice any more
their petals all fell off see them lying on the floor

Hey daddy can you tell me who,the next one to die will it be me or you.
