Your Envisioned One True Love

Your Envisioned One True Love

Have you ever pressed your lips so deeply
upon the lips of one you love
that you couldn’t get enough
of your envisioned one true love

and in your mind you truly though
this is what dreams are made of

this being here
in this moment
with your envisioned one true love

Have you ever coveted so badly
that there existed a tightness in your grip
in the way you held your envisioned love
then your mind would tend to slip

into a place of sweet nirvana
and it fit you like a glove

this being here
in this moment
with your envisioned one true love

Then reality taps you on the shoulder
and says, “Although you’re doing fine . .
the experiences you are feeling are only
for this fleeting space and time

but you’re caught up in the moment
as you soar up higher than a dove

this being here
in this instant
with your envisioned one true love

To live among these visions here
to reside in this here place
is a life’s great eager hunger
to always see that look upon her face

with the expression that all your hopes
and dreams were all consisting of

this being here
in this moment
with your envisioned one true love
