its all about forgetting really.
About where you are or
who you're with or
who you are on the phone to or
who you last kissed, things that in my mind you're still doing with me.
how you smelt
and the variety of smiles you had for the occasion.

Somedays it gets a little better, but today a woman walked past me in the street wearing the same perfume that you used to, I closed my eyes self indulgently and months of scraping tendrile memories of you out of my heart, didn't really count for much as i went back to square one.
