Unforgiving

Unforgiving

All of those wrinkles on your face
Are for all the years
You had to embrace
All of your tears that you have shed
Was for all the things
I should have said
I never meant to lose your faith
I tried so hard
Not to be a disgrace
Could you forgive this foolish old soul
Because hurting you
Was never my goal
Even though your heart would mend
You still would hate me
To the bitter end
