The sky some may say
Or the breeze on a cool summer day
The smell of the loft of fresh hay
Is all one way for us to see beauty hear what I say

I see the beauty of a young girls eyes
Or the way I stare into the clear blue skys
The simple smile of a young child’s joy
The beauty I see is nothing of what you are to me

The ocean of mine
The illusion of time
This smile of mine
Is my joy of time

Time we have grown
The love we have known
Was nothing I have shown
You are the only beauty I have known

Please do not take what you have shown me
Please do not erase what we have grown to know
Please do not refuse me what I have enjoyed us to show
Please forgive me for the love I can not show

Beauty is the thing we all may see different
And love is a word that can encumber all
But without love and beauty a strong man can fall
Do not let me stand alone in this hall

I see many doors in this hall of time
I have opened many and locked others
Some I fear to see for inside may be what you are to me
For beauty is not my love but my love is beauty

The thing in this world that can be more beautiful than all
And this is the thing that makes me stand alone in this hall
And you are the one who will never let me fall
This beauty and this love is mine to make but yours to break
