My morning shuteye

My morning shuteye

The indigo sky, a smearing flame,
The night, now, in its first hour of death,
Tastes the radiant light of the autumn sun.
The bluebells gleam like the evening twilight,
Unfold their wings as they drip nectar upon the lawn.

The heart beat of the early morning moon
Echoes through the dense, foggy air,
Unaware of the aroma of the emerald grass
That, gently, floats upward toward the celestial ocean
While the whisper of the bees never ceases to wake the ants;

I, alone, in the zenith of England, sprawl... forever, serene like a sea.
