The heat of the summer, gone without a word
The fall is here in crimson and gold
Sitting close to the fire
But can`t shake the cold

Leaves fallen from the trees long ago
So many days a dismal gray
Watching sad eyed children play

It will be a cold winter, all the signs are there
Maybe I`ll build a snowman
Some cold December day
Then I`ll stand shivering
As he slowly fades away

But then there`s always hope
Maybe the spring will return
I can turn my face to the gentle rain
And wash away this seasons pain.
