Love Hate

Love Hate

Bleed your heart out;

Hot knifes of tragedy slice through my face;

Overwhelming, taking you, becoming you;

Cry, cough, scream, thrash,

Wild, berserk, revered, ignored.

I laugh at my hate, enjoying it, this impure purity.

Shiver in heat, exasperated, pitiful;

You recoil, defend, hide, panic;

Insanity pushes me to clarity;

Pretender, false, believed;

I strive to be my desire, my destiny, my purpose.

Rejected, I have been made strong;

By struggling to survive, to pass along;

Unseen, but worshipped, like a fake-god;

But I want to break free;

To tear down the illusion that is me;

To be discovered by you;

You are my solstice, the peak of what I aim;

Unavoidable, but kept away, lost but found;

I strain to tell you;

You, I love.
