Phantom Dream

Phantom Dream

Rating:
A sleek sheet of velvet cloaks the sky,
Stars sowed in and glisten like flawless diamonds.
A perfect place for innocence;
A perfect place to fantasize.
A destination lies between us,
The tree limbs sway with elegance,
The moon gives off a faint blue light,
The light seeps through the gaps between leaves and leaves-
And twinkle beneath our feet.
We stand there entranced in each other’s grace,
Captivated in each others mischief gaze,
With a flutter of a lash...
I blinked.
