FAMILIAR STRANGER

FAMILIAR STRANGER

ACROSS THE CROWDED ROOM I SAW YOU OUT OF EVERYONE THERE.
IN THE NOISE OF THE ROOM I HEARD YOUR SOUL CALL OUT SOFTLY TO ME.
WHO IS SHE I THOUGHT TO MYSELF.
WHEN OUR EYES FINALLY MET I FELT HER PRESENCE INSIDE AND ALL AROUND ME; YET HER FACE I DID NOT REMEMBER.
WHEN SHE BRUSHED AGAINST ME AS SHE WALKED PASS; HER TOUCH WAS WONDERFULLY FAMILIAR AND IT IGNITED A FIERY PASSION THAT I NEVER KNEW EXISTED INSIDE ME.
WHO IS THIS FAMILIAR STRANGER, THIS BEAUTIFUL CREATURE, THIS GODDESS THATS HAUNTING ME.
HER SCENT I KNEW I HAD SMELLED BEFORE AND HER AROMA CONSUMED ME.
AND WHEN I HEARD HER VOICE, THAT SWEET ANGELIC VOICE, IT ECHOED THROUGH MY SPIRIT AND ALMOST MOVED ME TO TEARS.
WHAT TIME OR PLACE HAVE YOU COME IS WHAT I WANTED TO ASK HER BUT HOW COULD I APPROACH SUCH A HEAVENLY ANGEL.
SO I WALKED AWAY HOPING THAT ONE DAY I'D SEE HER AGAIN.
HOPING THAT WHEN AND IF I DID I'D HAVE THE COURAGE TO INTRODUCE MYSELF TO THE WOMAN I FELT I ALREADY KNEW.
MY FAMILIAR STRANGER
