A passing vision
Of a morning Sunrise
Emotions run wild
From a glance of your eyes
What is this thing
That I have come to feel
Like a storm that rages inside me
Darkness so surreal
As night descends to day
Surely the Sun must rise
Your beckoning image
Answering the call of my heart's cries
You were perfect
Yet what we shared was flawed
Tainted like the Garden of Eden
I never knew the Truth at all
You were the quiet before the storm
Such an elaborate disguise
A passing vision
Of a morning Sunrise
