Grandma (revised version)

Grandma (revised version)

Moments went by but it felt like eternity - everlasting...
My sister and I gazed at one another from across the church as the bells were blasting...

Rapid beating of my heart I felt like we were there all alone...
Hands shaking.. lips quaking we both knew he was calling you home!

Calling you home he did for dear sweet grandma you left us as the bells were chiming...
We know in our hearts this was all his special timing!

*Yesterday I thought what fun we had. But now all I have are memories, because she is gone.

*=original.
