Falling tears,
Over the years;
Anger and pain,
Steadily remains;
Lonely and confused,
Needing to be transfused;
Bitter and cold,
Quiet yet bold;
Rage inside,
Her soul has died;
In the dark she wanders,
Her life she ponders;
Its unfair she feels,
Her true self she doesn’t reveal;
To much violence and fire,
Her circumstances are dire;
In need of a release,
In search of peace;
And calm and glee,
Only wanting to be free;
Free of the shame,
Herself she blames;
Not being able to fight back,
Trying to figure out what she lacks;
Incessantly replaying things over in her mind,
Not letting the wounds heal with time;
Taking risks she shouldn’t take,
Accepting love that she knows is fake;
Being others and not knowing herself,
Putting her needs on a shelf;
Just to be accepted by no good men,
That uses her and throws her away again;
She’s lost in this cold and brutal world,
Outside a woman but inside an angry little girl;

im finding myself in words
