My Final Wish

My Final Wish

I heard it through the social grapevine
Apparently someone started to whine
They planted a few bombs here or there
They could've been placed anywhere
But they were placed in a school trash can
By a big and burly hateful man
And I got caught in the line of fire
And now my body is starting to tire
Tell my brother I love him a lot
And tell Kelcei I hate her not
Tell my daddy I love him a bunch
And tell Billy it was more than a crush
Make sure that all my pets are fed
And make sure my nephew always has a warm bed
Tell my friends that they're the best
I chose them above all the rest
They were there in my darkest time
And they helped to words begin to rhyme
The light is bright and my breath is slow
I think it's almost time to go
And if you miss me, remember this
These requests are my final wish.
