I Still Think About You

I Still Think About You

This hole is consuming
presuming
you care to hear.
The last words we spoke
Damning and dooming
I shed a tear.
Many actually, but why do you care?
The dark is looming
Shadows crawl, the walls are bare
Your power has slipped
In haste, try to regain
It devours the ground where
I stand there, my life remains
Stacked and packed precariously
Balancing act, thin wire
Stretched between
The empire of two.
What gives you the right
In the things that you do
on the coldest of nights?
Asking of me, everything
Bringing forth stinging
a slap in the face
Dragging me down to this place.
You still linger inside of my head
The time you bide
I wish I were dead. No wait.
I'd rather hate, contemplate
Masturbate to my dream
It is just that, what I deem
This beam of light
Through the fog and night
It isn't there, isn't real
It too is in my head.
Wishing you care
Just another foolish dare
A place where I was lead
It is said, "Hell hath no fury
of a woman scorned."
A faith is broken, torn
Lacking a point
Just like a porn.
Self aggrandizing, mesmerizing
How does it feel?
Peeling back leprous layers
of what you lack.
This is what's...real.
