I Could Still Remember

I Could Still Remember

I could still remember your face in my dreams
I want you back as crazy as that seems
I want you to see me as I fall
And stand in my own without any call

I could still remember the first time we met
Your friendship was something I wanted to get
I could still remember when you smile at me
Your smile was the brightest that I could see

I could still remember the times we share
To each other we're always fair
Giving one another a chance to see
All of the things we wanted to be

I could still remember the day you said go
odbye
It was really painful and made me cry
I never saw you again in my sight
My life was all out of light

A year after we saw each other
You don't care and wouldn't bother
I could not remember my old friend anymore
I was hurt and felt I would sink into the Earth's core

I waved goodbye as you ignored me
That's not what I want you to be
I've forgotten what I remember
And could see what I wanted to see

When we're older we could finally see
I miss you and everything I could be
Five years from now we'll look back on it all
That love will stand the test of time and never fall
