There was a boy, who did not know how to smile,
Cos the world had forgotten him for so long a time!
Guns in his hand and the devil in his mind
Bullets he fired, killing one dream at a time.

A face so lovely, the stage's pretty pride,
No longer here, her bro never got to say goodbye;
Cos of a boy who did not know how to smile,
The world had forgotten him for so long a time!

A professor old, the holocaust he survived!
Cold against a bloody door, he now nobly lies;
Cos of a boy who did not know how to smile
The world had forgotten him for so long a time!

His fraulein he wooed, and german, he taught
spectacles now lie in a pool of blood;
Cos of a boy who did not know how to smile
The world had forgotten him for so long a time!

Baseball in his mind and the Lord in his heart,
From his new job, so soon, he now must part;
Cos of a boy who did not know how to smile
The world had forgotten him for so long a time!

I am a girl, oh! So like you..
Pink dreams, a job, want a big wedding too!
There’s this boy I’ve seen, who does not know how to smile..
I will give him mine. I wanna be alive.
