the great loss

the great loss

the cock don't crow any more,
because it knows not the dawn.
the hours are not counted,
because they lead man to lateness.
days no longer exist in our midst,
because of the fear to be captured by the dark.
weeks are all forgotten,
because they were left behind the memory of man
and the months are slaves to emptiness,
because man recognizes none.
every season is treated dumb
by the storm that man cultured.
o!years are victimised by lies
from the rotation of the earth.
time is a coward and need not be.
shame unto the bright rays defeated
by the darkness in man.
this is a noisy pestilence man suffers,
freezing to cold death all his desires
everything is a threat against truth,
now where is hop for youth?
when we know no hours,no days,no weeks,no years
and no seasons to carry us through.
