A world of one

One color
One culture
One love

Where the only worthy measures are
the mind, spirit and soul,
and the greatest human treasure
is quality of character not quantity of gold;
and shoulders wide are leaned on, not cold;
and words do broken spirits mend, not scold.

A world of two

Two minds
Two spirits
Two souls

Where my survival depended on you,
and your precious hands held the key
to unlock shackling chains of strife and poverty,
and resolve the two greatest threats to humanity.

Would you
dare turn that key?

Would you
dare take command?

Would you
care to lend a hand,
to save this world from itself;
to restore sanity to this world obsessed
with war and vanity;
and build a world of one

One color
One culture
One love

Would you?
