The desire consumes them whole
Flesh on fire
Hearts seared to depths unknown with unbridled desire
Bodies entwined with passions that lift them higher
Arms cradle so tenderly one lover to another
There encircled by one another they die, melded as one hungry passion, and then are reborn
Reborn in trembling flesh and whispered names
Lying in the sweet afterglow of love
Sleep descends on them from above
Her arms stretched in tender receipt
Sleep peacefully these two hearts.....
May they never part
