Waves of the past

Waves of the past

The waves of our love washes back from sea
Wilted roses that were a part of you and me
It lays dying and wilted upon the shore
I knew in the end I could not see you anymore
The passion, the intensity seemed to die
Maybe we will never know the reasons why
I wonder in life if you will ever remember me?
Or will I just be to you a faded memory
In my heart I still love you each day
I feel helpless as I watch the dying roses today
Washing away with the seas of time you know
As I feel in my heart you may never know how much I loved you so
Waves of dying roses wash upon the shores
Washing away the love that was mine and yours
The roses of time lay crumpled as it washes to the sea
Carrying always along with it your beautiful memory
A love that was so strong and make us so complete
Now that love of ours is somehow bittersweet
