She walks through his heart
Every moment of the day
Her footsteps so light
As she continues on her way

He runs to catch her
But to no avail
She’s just beyond his reach
So he cries out “hail”

There is no response
She can’t hear his love
though he sings it
like a turtle dove

If only she would turn
And embrace the passion
She would never want again
Only love in real fashion
