In the distance they embrace

A couple in love

Two people trying to be one

Wishing they were on a deserted island

Hoping all the world will slow down for them

They must spend every waking moment together

Pressing up against each other

Feeling each others skin

Each touch electric

A soft gentle brush of the finger tips

Soft whispers in the ear

In the distance they walk away

I'm left there wondering

Where will they go

How long will it last

Do they know each other's secrets

Are they infatuated or in love

A soft touch on my shoulder

A familiar sent dances on my nose

A gentle wind blows her hair

I run my fingers through it

We embrace with a kiss

In the distance someone else is watching

They wonder just like I did

If my halo fell it would become a noose. Luckily my horns hold it up!
