The colors of the sun are dull, But glisten as the sun settles. The clouds filling the sky with a hue of purple, They soon thin out as night settles in.
Orange... Pink... Red paints the sky. The moon slithers out to restore the restless sky, To let day take a rest for tomorrow. The stars awake from their nap, They glisten their brightest in the finally rested sky.
I see the first star glowing brighter than his siblings, I make a wish: "I wish upon a star. For a love I've longed for. A love to put the pieces back of my broken heart."
My wish hasn't come true; Nor have I found my dream. So again I'll wait for the day to sleep, Allowing the night to take over.
I'll wait for my lucky star, Hoping my wish will be fulfilled.
