day with you

day with you

sunlight sparkle on the waves
laughter hours, wasted days
netted rainbow, pot of gold
on-the-inside truths are told

always early, never late
unvoiced words communicate
ancient starlight battle show
frowning waning, hates to go

waving back to bobbing leaves
jokes and laughter in the breeze
join the arms of both or one
never quitted, always done

sun gaxebo, roofless shed
bright sunflowers bobbing head
light turns yellow from dark blue
grasses whisper, wings do too

two find things that one can't find
modern hatred left behind.
live a lie but speaking true:
days like decades spent with you.
