Ties That Bind

Ties That Bind

Upon the bed she lays,
Spreading disease across the sheets.
Against my body she preys,
Until all purity depletes.

Innocence willfully given,
Away to a skilled liar.
Into my mind her poison is driven,
Dousing my senses in the hottest fire.

I was a fool to believe,
Any words from her luscious tongue.
The damage was mine to receive,
As the curse of her song was sung.

She spins her web of mental destruction,
Around her lovers she makes her capture.
Seducing is her lovely abduction,
It is disaster disguised as rapture.

Resistance is powerless in this Hell,
The sound of her voice resonates throughout.
In the threads of this trap I still now dwell,
Ties that bind leave me forever in doubt.

The past is nothing more,
Then choices that should’ve been made.
If only I chose to ignore,
The light that cast me into shade.
