The Anxious Friend (Revised)

The Anxious Friend (Revised)

I Cherish her beautiful smile,
And she loves the way that I think,
Her Joy I Would Never Defile.

A room without her is exile,
She comes to sight, I never blink,
I Cherish Her Beautiful Smile.

Yet my honesty is fragile,
For she already has a link,
Her Joy I Would Never Defile.

Here I stand ready all the while,
Anxious to work out every kink,
I Cherish Her Beautiful Smile.

To refuse these feelings is denial,
With passion I’m filled to the brink,
Her Joy I Would Never Defile.

For her I’d walk many a mile,
Into this rapture I now sink,
Her joy I would never defile,
This emotion is so genial.
