A Million Miles

I had traveled a million miles of loneliness when I thought I had reached my end
Finding someone I thought would be my lover and my best friend
I finally thought the time had come to rest my weary feet
And all the sadness that was there did suddenly retreat
But then out of nowhere a storm had come and whisked you right away
Taking everything away from me all in one day
Now I am faced with walking this road alone again and blue
Cursing the gods for giving and then taking away you

im finding myself in words
