Last Night

Last Night

You were with me instead of her last night.
You were with me every night.
You were with her only in the day and you’re in dreams that I have tainted.
You stay with her while I wait quietly waiting for you to return.
You say to not tell her, and of course I abide by your wishes.
You say it’s a one-time thing, until you return to me every night.
You say you love her, though you are with me and not her.
I feel your pain, your passion, coursing through your veins at the sight of me.
I feel your want for me, but you know you should love her instead.
I feel how hard it is for you, to stay away, during the daylight hours.
I see your gaze linger on me, your touch a little to long, your voice a little to soft.
I know how much you need for me to be there for you.
I know how much you want her though you will always crave me.
I know that I have so much control over you and her it scares you, as well as excites you.
I can tell that you will always lust after me, never knowing exactly why.
You might say that you don’t want me anymore.
You might say that it was nothing, just a hunger for companionship.
You might say you love her, but of course you would say that.
You only say that because I know the real truth behind you lies.
